I was born at my parents' house, in the country in  Ancash, Peru...

My family are in the countryside & 3 in the city of Lima.I am the third of seven younger brothers, 2 are artists (sculptors), since I was a child I made art, making clay figures to play. My job is my escape from everything, it is play. I started the business world with my brothers, in a small craft workshop, we had a small store to wholesale our product, that's where I met many artisans and musicians where I discovered my passion for creating jewelry. At the age of 19, I started creating macrame pieces a few months later, my brother David gave me a set of jewelry clamps, I accepted it as an inheritance and I knew that he was going to follow his legacy since he chose to leave the craft and  study engineering ..

At the age of 21 I decided to train at a technical jewelry school, where I studied for two years. My favorite technique is hammering. Tools.  Hammer, pliers, anvil, ballast, scissors, torch. If I need something that is not on the market, I must create it. Materials.  Stones, metals, leather, organic materials like seeds.

My inspiration comes from two sources.  Nature and other artists. Choosing materials is the hardest task when I am going to create something new.  First I choose the main part of the piece, be it a stone, seed or some material of animal origin, although it is very little that I usually work. Then I choose the type of metal to work, that depends on what purpose the jewel will be created;  it can be specifically ornamental, for esoteric or therapeutic use.

The time to make a jewel is very variable, from an hour or 3 hours, there are pieces that take me two days, man hours.Materials come in different forms.  In a specific store for jewelers, exchange with other artisans (barter).  And I also collect it from nature. My favorite materials are stones, the turquoise color is my favorite.The.  Silver and the.  Bronze My biggest one-piece sale was $ 300, a necklace for a Mexican shaman.  The piece was of an Inca mystical theme.

A typical day in my life, I am on my feet at 6 in the morning, looking at my stones is what I always do before starting work  , I do not feel tired when I play, it is what I do I call playing.
