I have 5 children. My parents still live in Lima and I give them a monthly pension. We are 3 brothers ROCIO 48, I 45, & JUNIOR 26. I started working on my own since I was 15. The economy of my parents had fallen to such extreme poverty so my sister and I started working. I first started selling underwear on the street then with my sister we started selling groceries (basic necessities such as rice, milk, sugar, etc) After finishing my secondary studies, I worked as a collector of buses & then I worked with my uncles selling clothes & shoes. At 19 years old I started my own business selling items like electrical and electronics on the street. Well, afterwards I came to Lima and worked a bit of everything in commercial stores then as a security agent. I worked as a singer serenading & finally selling ice cream from a wheelbarrow through the streets of Lima. At the age of 26 I returned to Iquitos & now I live off my craft. My attention was called because there was little investment and the profit was good. But in a short time I realized that it was my VOCATION and there my path to evolution began not only in the ARTISTIC but also in the SPIRITUAL. After that I began to live the life of an artist towards the end of 1999 until now. It has now been 5 years that I have the jewelry stand in Ollantaytambo, Peru and because of pursuing my dreams as an artist, I didn’t have luck in the aspect of family. This is why I was divorced 2 years ago. So here I am on my feet struggling like a good Peruvian & artist.
